Eliza Gibbons stitched a silken sampler of Chieveley Church in 1839: now you have a unique opportunity to stitch a copy of her sampler too! Mr Victor Pocock, the owner of Eliza's sampler has kindly given permission for cross stitch charts to be sold in aid of the Miriam Dean Trust.

Description:

The sampler is worked in cross stitch on linen, mainly over two threads of fabric, but some areas require stitching over one thread of fabric only. Nine different shades of floss, mainly browns and blueish greens, are used in the design.

Stitching experience: intermediate
Fabric: 40 count sandstone Permin linen
N.B. This design is not suitable for stitching on Aida.

Design Size:
- 40 count linen: 14.6" x 19.0" (37.0cm x 48.3cm)
- 36 count linen: 16.2" x 21.1" (41.1cm x 53.6cm)
- 28 count linen: 20.8" x 27.1" (52.8cm x 68.9cm)
Allow an extra 3" (8cm) minimum each side for mounting; increase this to include mount/mat if you wish to use one when framing.
